Dr. Eversley D. Pemberton
Following his pre-doctoral internship at Psychological & Counseling Associates in Huntsville, AL, Dr. Eversley Pemberton earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Clinical Psychology in 2008 from Palo Alto University's Pacific Graduate School of Psychology in Palo Alto, CA. After that, in 2009, he finished his post-doctoral fellowship at Positive Outcomes in Athens, Georgia. After completing his clinical psychopharmacology residency at an outpatient psychiatric practice in Duluth, Minnesota, in 2013, Dr. Pemberton also obtained a Post-Doctoral Master's degree in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In Georgia, Dr. Pemberton holds a license as a Clinical Psychologist. The National Register of Health Service Psychologists has qualified him as a Health Care Psychologist. In addition, the National Register of Health Service Psychologists has granted him the Early Career Psychologist Credentialing Scholarship certificate, and he is currently a member of the American Psychological Association. With his accreditation from Veteran Evaluation Services, he may conduct psychiatric evaluations and assess veterans for PTSD. Dr. Pemberton is also approved by a number of insurance companies, including the majority of HMOs and Medicaid CMOs.
In addition to offering psychotherapy for children with mental health issues like conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, disruptive behavior disorder, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, Dr. Pemberton specializes in computerized diagnostic testing processes. He also provides psychotherapy services and conducts psychological evaluations for individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders. Dr. Pemberton collaborates closely with other clinical psychologists who specialize in various areas of psychology. Dr. Pemberton has been a professor at the University of the Virgin Islands' Liberal Arts and Social Science Division for several semesters.
Also, Dr. Pemberton has contracts with a number of community-based service organizations that offer CORE and Wrap-Around services to local residents. In addition, Dr. Pemberton treats patients with mental health issues at Children's Medicine of Rockdale's outpatient pediatric clinic, which is located at 1765 Parker Rd., Suite B210, Conyers, GA 30094. At Psych Diagnostics Psychological Services LLC, 285 Boulevard NE, Suite 210, Atlanta, GA 30312, Dr. Pemberton also maintains a private practice.
